Mulching

Tree care for us, it is really important to look after the trees we planted, to ensure the best success rate possible. So we organised a mulching party at Huntingdon Racecourse where we check on the trees and give them a good layer of mulch, we then did some essential wedding, taking out any that had not made it, luckily there were very few that had not made it.  Mulching ensures they are in the best condition for the drier summer months. It also offered another wonderful opportunity to meet new volunteers.
