Every year, the UK buys six-eight million Christmas trees - with the majority of these iconic symbols of the festive period discarded in the New Year – so this holiday season, the Cambridgeshire-based re-wilding charity Creating Nature’s Corridors is urging you to pay it back. All you have to do is to remember to make a £5 donation to the charity when you purchase your tree and the funds will go towards replanting the least wooded areas of the country.
